Verisurf Introduces New Master3DGage™ Scanner Option
Affordable, 3D Laser Scanning for Inspection and Reverse Engineering

Verisurf Software, Inc. will be demonstrating the new Master3DGage Scanner Option, at CONTROL 2016, Stuttgart Exhibition Centre, Hall 1, Booth 1000. The new scanner is designed to complement Master3DGage, the affordable and portable rapid 3D inspection and reverse engineering solution that enables shops to significantly increase production and improve part quality.
The non-contact laser scanner delivers excellent price/performance and is easily interchangeable with tactile probes on the Master3DGage, portable CMM. This expands application flexibility between contact probing used in many inspection processes and high-speed non-contact 3D scanning, typically used in reverse engineering.

Verisurf Software, the application behind the hardware, includes performance and productivity tools designed to maximize scan data associated with reverse engineering and inspection. Speed Menu options for point cloud and mesh objects greatly reduce the time necessary to scan, align and inspect part data. High-definition display of point clouds with shading enhances fine details of scans, as the data is collected. Verisurf analyzes and displays large scan data at a rate of one million points per second in real-time. These performance features and the Verisurf ‘Do It’ icon for quick alignment, registration, analysis, and reporting, make the new scanner the perfect complement to the complete Master3DGage solution.
The complete Master3DGage solution is based on the latest Hexagon Metrology laser scan head technology, integrated Portable CMM with Absolute Encoders and Verisurf advanced 3D model-based inspection and reverse engineering software. The solution is a highly accurate and powerful toolset that is easy to learn, operate and maintain.
