Path Display of Probe-Sized Nominal and Clearance Spheres
When programming CNC CMMs offline or online, users must see precisely what will happen before running the inspection plan. In Verisurf Preferences – Display Settings – Automate Path options, users can display the Nominal Spheres based on the Clearance Ball Size; Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, or Probe Size. When Probe Size is selected, the Probe defined in the inspection plan is used. If the inspection plan does not have a defined probe, the Default Probe under Preferences – Automate Settings is used.
Note: The image represents the Probe Size Sphere Display. The user can visually see the maximum allowable depth the probe can travel without hitting the floor when measuring the inside diameter.
